The Language of Old, or the old tongue, is a language spoken by the Gods and the eldest of immortal Beings. It consists of words only made by three symbols (later three letters). The symbols were for one of each part of a Soul, or the same amount as Gods present (36). Ten of these symbols grew redundant, as the Language of Old is more transmitting emotion and energies, rather than actual speech. As so, the name of each God that was formerly a symbol was translated into three letter words.
